GM Sales Dip

General Motors sales dipped by about 19 percent during the beginning of the first quarter this year.

GM officials admit while February was a challenging month, the dip in sales was due to the weather in the northeast and the economic uncertainty.

To compensate, Lansing Car Assembly Plant and Grand River Assembly Plant were asked to produce additional units.

The automaker says it will cut back on production by between five and 10 percent. But local GM officials stress Lansing will continue to work its normal schedule.
