Linda Spisak was the school social worker at Cascades Elementary School in Jackson when Ricky was a student there for kindergarten and first grade.
She testified that she observed Ricky because Lisa asked her to determine if he had emotional problems that might require special education.
She admitted to the prosecutor that Ricky's behavior in school did not match Lisa Holland's description of sometimes extreme behavior at home.
She said that Ricky did steal food. She believe Lisa Holland who told her he did that because he was deprived of food and taught to steal by his biological mother.
Under questioning, she said Ricky told her "he loved his Mom. And that he especially loved his Dad."
She said she did not find emotional impairment, and said that Ricky's behavior at school probably wouldn't have forced the school to do the evaluation they did at Lisa Holland's request.
