About a hundred East Lansing residents rallied Saturday, asking BWL to work more quickly and efficiently to restore power to their homes.
Demonstrators held signs and shared their personal stories of how nearly week-long power outages have affected them. Many also expressed their concerns to East Lansing Mayor Nathan Triplett and City Manager George Lahanas.
The city and BWL are holding a press conference this afternoon. Stay with WILX and reporter Lorne Fultonberg for the latest information. Tune in at six tonight for a full recap.
