The results are in from Tuesday's special primary election in Ingham County.
Ballots were cast to help narrow down the field of candidates hoping to win the 23rd District Senate seat left vacant by Virg Bernero.
On the Democratic side, Gretchen Whitmer is the winner, grabbing 85-percent of the votes. Whitmer ran against Anthony Benavides and Melissa Sue Robinson.
On the Republican side, a close race between John Findlay and Vince Green. One hundred percent of the precincts reporting, Green leads by one vote.
