MSU Students Held at Gunpoint

Kurt Richmond says he and his two roommates can't live in their Dover's Crossing apartment anymore. They need to move out and move on with their lives.

The three roommates were held at gunpoint Wednesday night. Two men sprayed Richmond with pepper spray at the door and then held a gun on the men. One roommate was hit in the head with a pipe and went to the hospital.

Police say the two intruders could have mistaken the residence for another apartment where a drug bust happened two months ago. The attackers told the roommates they wanted their marijuana and money. Police say there is no evidence the students were involved in drugs.

Police also say this kind of attack is unusual for Dover's Crossing. Apartment management let the renters out of their lease, no questions asked.

Police say fingerprints taken from the apartment could lead them to the culprits.
