According to the Lansing Fire Department a child playing with a lighter set the fire killing two-year-old twins.
The fire occurred on Feb. 17 at about 4p.m. in house on Martin St.
Two of the children and a babysitter escaped the fire.
While portions of the investigation are ongoing, Lansing police say they have no intention to charge any of the family members with any crime given the accidental nature of the fire.
