A couple from Holt is hoping a $10,000 reward will lead them to the person who stole their classic car.

Terrie Perkins tells News 10 the 1970's Chevrolet Chevelle was stolen from a hotel in Indianapolis on Sunday. Perkins and her husband, Keith Parmer, were in town for the Goodguys 3rd Speedway Nationals Car Show at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The couple spent their retirement money on restoring the car, investing about $300,000 in parts and labor. Perkins tells us she has gotten emails from people who think they've seen the car, but it has yet to be recovered.

Perkins believes they're not the only ones in this situation. "I know there were more cars stolen last weekend in the area. There was a very large car show that draws a lot of people," Perkins tells News 10.

If you know something about this car, call Indianapolis Metro Police Department's vehicle theft office at (317) 327-2695, or email Terrie Perkins at perkinsterrie@yahoo.com.
