ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say three University of Michigan students have suffered minor injuries after falling out of a moving bus.
The Ann Arbor News reports the bus went around a corner Saturday morning, the students shifted their weight and the rear door opened. They were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries including cuts and scrapes.
Police say the bus was traveling at a normal speed. The vehicle is being evaluated by university police and maintenance workers.
The bus was carrying about 60 students, which officers say is typical for football game days or weekdays.
