A two car crash on I-96 closed both westbound and eastbound lanes for a half an hour Saturday. The crash happened between Wallace St. and Elm St. in Lansing around ten in the morning.
A vehicle with two occupants was traveling westbound on I-96 when it slowed down for a minor wreck in front of it. The vehicle following behind rear-ended them.
The male in the first vehicle was air-lifted to Sparrow Hospital in serious condition, a woman was taken by ambulance. The lone occupant in the second vehicle was also taken to Sparrow by ambulance. Police tell us all three crash victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
