Wyoming Groups Courting Mid-Michigan's Skilled Workers

By  |

How about this for a problem: too many jobs, but not enough skilled workers to fill them.

That's what the state of Wyoming is dealing with. So recruiters from the Cowboy State are in Mid-Michigan hoping to woo some of our skilled workers west.

The recruiters came from cities, community colleges, the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and one private business.

The groups visited Flint and Lansing and will be in Jackson at the Holiday Inn from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
