Two people were arrested when Jackson sheriff's deputies shut down what they said was an operating meth lab.
Deputies were sent to a Summit Township home Wednesday to check on the welfare of a child thought to be in the house in the 100 block of Lakeview Terrace. No child was found, but but once inside the house they discovered the active meth lab and by-products of previous labs.
The suspects arrested are a 39 year old male and a 41 year old female. Both were taken into custody for meth-making related charges.
