LANSING (WILX)-- Lansing Catholic High School is seeing their largest freshman class in 30 years.

School Principal Tom Maloney says the class of 166 freshman is a huge win for the private school.

"The school of choice option has made it easier for students to go elsewhere because we have tuition. We've been working on building this class since the fourth grade," said Maloney.

Lansing schools are expecting enrollment to stay level this year despite being part of school of choice.
