DETROIT (AP) -- Authorities say a Grand Rapids-area man, his son and nephew died in a two-car crash on Detroit's Lodge expressway. Two others were hurt.

State police say the crash happened about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on the Lodge just north of the Davison Freeway interchange.

Lt. Michael A. Shaw says a 21-year-old Detroit man with one passenger was speeding north and struck another northbound car with four people aboard.

Shaw says the crash killed three of the four people in the second car. They were 67-year-old driver Brian K. Kelly of Kentwood, 31-year-old Daniel B. Kelly of Kentwood and 18-year-old Keeland T. Johns of Grand Rapids.

The lieutenant says another passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Shaw says the first car's driver was unhurt, while his passenger also had non-life threatening injuries.
