CMU Soccer Player Killed In Friday Crash

Josie Seebeck, a sophomore who played on the women's soccer team at Central Michigan University, died this weekend after a rollover car accident on I-69.

The accident happened Friday on I-69 near Lansing street in Charlotte.

Seebeck, along with two others were in the car when the rollover crash happened.

Seebeck passed away from her injuries. Central Michigan University's athletic department referring to the other two passengers, said one soccer player is hospitalized and the other was released Saturday after spending the night at the hospital for observation.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
