In the first ever National Report Card on the State of Emergency Medicine, Michigan received a B-. Access to emergency care, quality and patient safety, public health and injury prevention and medical liability environment were looked scrutinized to compile the overall grade. Michigan received its lowest mark, a D-, in the Medical Liability area.
