An 18-year-old from Lansing is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting overnight.
Officers were called to the area of East Saginaw and Prudden Street at 12:47am Wednesday. They discovered an 18-year-old Lansing man with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, body and arms. Police say he is expected to survive.
Police believe the victim may have been robbed before he was shot. The suspect is described as a dark completed black male, 20 years of age, 5'10" to 5'11" in height, heavier build, wearing a red shirt and dark jeans.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying this suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous.
