A family of hurricane evacuees may be far from home this Thanksgiving but they still have a lot to be thankful for.
Tinisha Speed and her three children are making a new home up north after leaving New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
They were part of the handful of evacuees brought back in September as part of the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus' trip down to deliver supplies and bus people back.
