KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- The latest in a series of apparent insider attacks in Afghanistan has left two U.S. troops dead. Officials say a police officer opened fire on U.S. and Afghan forces at a police headquarters in eastern Afghanistan, sparking a firefight that killed the two Americans and two Afghan policemen. The attacker was also killed.
In a second incident today, outside the capital, U.S. troops fired on a truck that was approaching their military convoy, killing two Afghan men.
