2 People Killed in Accidents on Slick Roads

Snowy and icy conditions have caused hundreds of accidents in Michigan and caused at least two deaths and some school closings as icing and blustery winds make pre-Thanksgiving travel hazardous.
The National Weather Service says snow was falling in many parts of the state Tuesday night, with some wind gusts topping 30 miles per hour. Crashes closed parts of I-475 near Flint and I-75 near Saginaw early in the day.
Authorities in western Michigan cite bad weather in two fatal crashes Monday.
The Barry County sheriff's department says that 66-year-old Gary M. Johnson of Johnstown Township died in a crash in Hastings Township. And police say 58-year-old John Masters of Otsego died in a crash in Kalamazoo County's Alamo Township.
More snow is expected into Wednesday.
