The Michigan Court of Appeals has refused an appeal by an Eaton County man convicted of killing his parents back in 1999.
Richard Dorman was found guilty of stabbing John and Shauna Dorman in their Charlotte home and sentenced to two life terms. He was 19 at the time.
Dorman appealed saying the judge improperly allowed DNA evidence. But the court disagreed, especially since Dorman's ex-girlfriend witnessed the killings.
She was also sentenced to up to 50 years in prison for the crime.
