Undersheriff, Fred McPhail says it's just speculation so far, but the victim may have owed the suspect money.
But, when they arrived at the bank, the man had no money in his account. That's when the undersheriff says suspects just left the victim there.
The victim then went home and alerted the police. The Eaton Rapids PD then apprehended the suspects as they were leaving a residence off King Street.
All four were questioned and housed at the Eaton County Jail Wednesday night. They could be arraigned Thursday.
