Lots of trash talk on the steps of the state capital, as members of the house Democratic Caucus discuss trash being dumped here in Michigan.
They and house Democratic leader Dianne Byrum say Michigan is the Great Lakes State, not the Great Dumping State.
Byrum says 25 percent of the state's trash comes from Canada. Democratic leaders want to put an end to imported dumping. They hope to increase dumping charges and encourage recycling.
