It's been almost one year since the 200 car pileup on Interstate 96 near Okemos Road and M-52. Thursday, Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth spoke in East Lansing about what went wrong and what went right.
Sheriff Wriggelsworth says there are two things that could be improved upon, where the injured people were sent and also where the damaged vehicles were sent.
Sheriff Wriggelsworth says the hospital part has been fixed and if another pileup were to occur, all damaged vehicles would be sent to one area where they could be retrieved the next day.
As for what went right, Sheriff Wriggelsworth says all of the agencies responding worked well together.
