Oil prices have risen above $127 a barrel for the first time.
Light, sweet crude for June delivery rose as much as $3.31 to $127.43 a barrel in electronic trading Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange by afternoon in Europe. That tops the previous high of $126.98 a barrel set Tuesday.
The contract closed at $124.12 on Thursday.
U.S. energy risk management firm Cameron Hanover says "everything the market looks at is bullish" and predicts greater volatility.

did not they say it would someday hit 200$ a barrel.have not they said 8-10 $ gal of gas?so they must of looked ahead or this has been well planned by the oil people all over the world.what we have is in demand so why not charge for it.who cares how it causes food to go up or anything else.look at the control it will give the government over the people world wide.look at the power it will have over poor countries.god gave us this oil as part of the earth,woe to thoes who profit and cause hardships and starvation to all thoes it does.woe to the govs greed, they will never go on to better things and not be taking their riches with them.meek will inherit the earth.loving,kind,shareing,helping others,honest,people who are not rich by far.good cristian people.then thoes thinking only of themselves,love of money,they will be gone.all cruel govs along with them.do onto others?up goes prices,down goes people?as the world changes?sign of the times?men will suffer.
