Two people are arraigned Thursday in connection with the murder of a homeless man.
43-year-old Tammy Verdon, who is also homeless, is charged with open murder in the death of 55-year-old David Lloyd Melvin.
She faces a life in prison sentence if convicted.
Also charged, 47-year-old John Belin, who is also homeless. He was arraigned on an "accessory after the fact to a felony" charge and could get up to five years in prison if found guilty.
Both Belin and Verdon will be back in court next week.
Melvin's body was discovered outside the The Volunteers of America Monday night. Police say he died from multiple stab wounds.

Well, except for the fact that the poor man was murdered, the 2 others still have a free ride in MI. Still free food, free housing and more goverment stuff for free. They will no longer be homeless! We the tax payers will pay for their medical and room and board in Prison! MI needs the DEATH sentence for sure!!!!
