The Lugnuts baseball owner say they may be only four days away from a long term deal to stay in The Capital City.
The Lansing City Council has spent the last two weeks reviewing the details of a new contract that would allow the team to continue playing at Oldsmobile Park till 2020.
Thursday is the first opportunity for leaders to ask questions about the new deal.
One ongoing concern for council members is receiving less money in rent from the team in the last 10 years of the agreement.
However, Lugnuts ownership says they deserve the rent relief.
A vote is scheduled for Monday.
