Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Grand Rapids and Macomb County on Wednesday.
The Illinois senator didn't campaign in Michigan before the Jan. 15 presidential primary and took his name off the ballot because Michigan had broken state party rules by moving up its primary, forcing his supporters to vote for Uncommitted.
Details on Wednesday's visit have not yet been released.
Obama remains ahead of Hillary Rodham Clinton in the national delegate count. He'll be in Michigan a day after the pair face off in West Virginia.
Last week, Republican candidate John McCain campaigned at Oakland University north of Detroit.

Where is the press for the independents? I am getting tired of obama and clinton making all of the press.

We have had plenty of time to examine Obama and McCain. All I can say is I am ready for a change... I am voting OBAMA!

EXACTLY what John said...please look at him CAREFULLY and everything that has surrounded him (Wright, his wife's statements, etc). To be blunt: Scary.

Are we the 58th or 59th State??? I hope people looking to vote for him in November take a good long look at his motives, political expereince, and overall competence.
