A 31 year old Lansing man is recovering after being run over by a train.
Lansing Police say it happened around 3:30 Friday morning near the intersection of Donora and Baker streets.
The railroad engineer and conductor say they saw the man lying in the tracks, but couldn't stop the train in time.
The man was pulled from underneath the second locomotive after the train had come to a stop.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
The man is currently in stable condition in an Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital.
Lansing Police say they will pursue charges for trespassing on railroad property.
