The group was first put together to combat racial injustices following the Sept. 11 attacks.
Sunday, Lansing held the ninth Unity in the Community forum, to promote togetherness in the community.
The group meets once a month at sites around Mid-Michigan, always hoping for resident participation.
Sunday's forum involved a roundtable discussion among other activities.
