Police Prepare for Saturday's Game

The East Lansing Police Department is calling in all of its officers while MSU Police will make no major changes for the Michigan State, Michigan game.

MSU Sgt. Florene McGlothian Taylor says all officers are always at home football games. But, student employees and special events staff will be on Sparty Watch.

Police from a handful of agencies around mid-Michigan will start work bright and early Saturday morning when the tailgating lots open. They will stay on late into the evening to direct traffic, respond to calls and keep an eye out for rowdy crowds.
