Neither the Eaton County Prosecutor's Office nor the Michigan State Police are saying anything further about the case... just that a complaint was filed, and they are investigating.
Meanwhile, MSU Athletic Director and former Spartan hockey coach, Ron Mason says he always looked for players who were smart and could skate... not fighters.
But, some parents of the players on the team in question say they want their kids to be able to defend themselves if a goon attacks them on the ice.
The coach is still suspended pending investigations by the Summit Complex - which owns the team, the Michigan State Police... and a likely investigation by the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association.
