A woman is hospitalized after being shot by police inside a Jackson County store on Friday.
When state troopers got to a convenience store in Parma, they found the woman holding a gun. Troopers say they fired after she pointed the gun at a man.
The 36-year-old Indiana woman is in critical but stable condition in Ann Arbor. The shooting remains under investigation.
