ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez says offensive lineman Justin Boren has left the team.
Rodriguez told reporters at a Tuesday night news conference about Boren's decision, but declined to discuss specifics. Boren, who came to Michigan from Pickerington, Ohio, was to be one of two returning starters on the line.
A telephone listing for Boren was busy when called Tuesday night. An e-mail seeking comment from Boren was sent by The Associated Press.
The announcement from Rodriguez was reported by The Ann Arbor News, the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News.
