WYOMING, Mich. (AP) -- Grand Rapids-area officials say a teenager has died from gunshot wounds and another is in custody.
The Wyoming Department of Public Safety said 17-year-old Tacarhri Richardson was dropped off at the Metro Health Hospital early Sunday. Police responded at the hospital. Richardson was pronounced dead a few hours later.
A 17-year-old boy has since been arrested in relation to the shooting death. WOOD-TV reports that jail and Michigan State Police records show he is being held in the Kent County Correctional Facility on felony homicide and felony weapons charges.
