Walking in to the courtroom squinting and shackled, Thomas Eugene White III remained silent and unresponsive, even when his sentence was read. White will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his mother Diane Urbanik, his half brother Anthony Urbanik and stepfather Tony Urbanik last August.
Richard Miles, the sole member of the family in court Thursday for White's sentencing, says it's what the family wanted. Miles was Diane Urbanik's foster son and later son-in-law. He also lived with White, in the same Meridian Township home the family was found murdered in, for about six months.
Prosecuting Attorney Sam Smith says it ended the way it should have. White's attorney, David Merchant, says White stills maintains he's innocent.
