New Regime Moves In

The new year marks the start of a new regime in state politics. On Thursday, state leaders moved in to their offices.

State Senator Virg Benero says moving into his new office in the Farnham Building means he his moving towards the bigger goal. It's a chance to really impact the system.

He says his first priority will be fighting for better mental health care and health care in general.

Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land moved into her offices at the Treasury Building. She was more fortunate than others because she was able to move in about a month ago.

Attorney General Mike Cox is another state leader moving into the G. Mennen Williams Building. Operations are up and running as he was busy at work with a full day of meetings.

All say it's a day they will soon not forget.
