People living in Williamston continue to show support for the family of missing boy, Ricky Holland.
As the Holland's backyard was excavated Friday afternoon for clues, neighbors said they were sure human remains would not be found.
"The parents seem like they're assisting as much as they can and are true to their word," said Linda Schultz.
"They're just processing through everything they need to do," said Orla Parker.
The seven-year-old was reported missing from his bedroom July 2. A three-hour dig of the family's backyard resulted in finding a dog's remains.
