For Ford, its plan would offer Ford employee prices on all 2005 Ford and Lincoln-Mercury products, with a few exceptions.
Locally some Ford dealers say the move could draw in GM workers for the first time as their pricing would be more competitive with the discounts those employees saw for many years with GM.
