Eaton County released the details of a three week sex offender sweep putting the county's sex offenders more in line with the law then state averages.
The sweep is designed to see if offenders are living at their listed address -- failure to do so is a felony.
A random check by the Michigan State Police found that nearly 9 of 10 of the county's sex offenders were living at their listed residence, whereas Michigan averages about 6 of 10.
