Victim Memorial

It's a project that was spearheaded by Larry Mentink whose son James was murdered at a Buddy's 16 years ago.

He says while attending survivor support groups, he always heard people say they wanted their loved ones to be remembered. That request inspired him to erect a monument.

It features a bust of his son James on top, with pictures of 24 other victims on plagues. The octagon shape allows for more than 80 plagues in all. Families can still request to picture their victim.
