A Belleville woman is in police custody and could face felonious assault charges after allegedly assaulting an employee at a cookie stand in Ann Arbor's Briarwood Mall.
Police say the 25-year-old woman became angry about 7:30 Thursday night when the kind of cookie she wanted was not available.
The suspect is alleged to have used a two-pound box of cookie wrappers to strike the clerk.
The clerk did not require medical treatment.
The kind of cookie the customer wanted is unknown.
