Lansing Shooting

Lansing police are reporting the year's first homicide.

According to the Lansing Police Department, they responded to a shooting near the 1800 Block of Donora Street around 6:40 p.m., and found a 23-year-old Lansing man injured.

The man was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead en route.

Authorities are still investigating the shooting, but have not yet established a motive.
