The driver of a tanker truck may have had a fatal heart attack moments before his truck smashed into a Webberville fuel station.
The victim is identified as 64-year-old Ed Grimley of Fowlerville.
Shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, the truck smashed through the wall of the Webberville Oil Company. Schools and neighbors within a quarter-mile radius were evacuated in case of an explosion, but remarkably there was no explosion, no flames and no other serious injuries.
Late Wednesday afternoon, crews were able to prop up the building well enough to pull the truck from the building.
