Ranking fourth in Lansing as one of the most dangerous intersections, the corner of Cedar St. and Edgewood Blvd. was the site of another accident.
Early Thursday morning, a mini-van and a SUV collided in the middle of the intersection. No one was seriously injured.
The intersection ranks fourth with more than 40 accidents this year. The city of Lansing Transportation and Parking Office says more than 45,000 cars travel on these roads daily.
Authorities say traffic volume has increased because of new business developments in south Lansing. They warn drivers to be cautious and drive defensively.
Lansing Police say they will continue to target the area and work with the city's traffic engineers.
