The body found in the Grand River last weekend has been identified as Patty Borring, 52, of Lansing.
Lansing police tells us Borring was reported missing by her family in March. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is underway.
A kayaker found her decomposed body floating in the river Saturday evening, stuck in debris on a ridge piling near the Willow Street bridge.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Patty Joe Borring since March to call them.
Police are still investigating the incident.
