Kelly Clark was sexually assaulted as a child. Bu, it wasn't until 25 years later that she finally told someone about it. She says that's when the healing process began.
She was one of dozens who took park in the 8th Jackson 'Take Back the Night' march and rally. It's an event for victims of sexual abuse to come together, share their stories and heal.
Guest speaker, Jim Parker is a sexual assault victim. He was an alter boy when he was attacked by a priest. But it wasn't until nearly 40 years later that he finally came forward.
Parker says it's important for victims to share their stories with friends and families, and that group events like 'Take Back the Night' continue so the general public can see the number of people who are affected by these crimes.
