JACKSON - A former teacher accused of having sex with the a teenage student, is back in jail, after police say he was pulled over with the same girl in his car. Matthew Lusby, a former teacher at daVinci Institute in Jackson, was arrested shortly after 3:30 Sunday morning, when he was pulled over for speeding. Deputy Chief John Holda says that Lusby told officers he was driving the girl home from one of her friend's houses. As condition of his release from jail until trial, Lusby was ordered not to have contact with the girl.
Lusby will remain jailed at least until a hearing Friday.
Lusby was charged in late March on two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct.
