A podium pounding Gov. Jennifer Granholm went after legislative republicans for not moving fast enough on her self-described aggressive jobs agenda. But the GOP Speaker of the Michigan House noted that the governor has taken plenty of time to get her program together and she should extend the same courtesy to lawmakers to review it.

"To rubber stamp her program is not reasonable," says Speaker Craig DeRoche who promised quick action because people are hurting as he put it.

With 15 democrats at her side and no republicans, Granholm said, "We want action. We want movement." She also wanted the GOP to send some lawmakers to the press conference but none showed up and the governor was not happy about that either.
