MSU Students Help Foster Kids

By  |

Nearly three dozen Michigan State University students are volunteering to make prom dresses for six area foster kids. The volunteers are part of the Student Apparel Design Association (SADA).

Each foster child will have the dress of her dreams designed and fitted to her exact measurements as part of Project Prom Dress.

The organization will hold a fashion show at the Wharton Center April 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15, $10 for students. Call 1-800-WHARTON for tickets. Proceeds will go toward next year's Project Prom Dress.
