A mid-Michigan school district takes all the precautionary measures to ensure children are safe in school.
Hanover-Horton School District in Jackson County is beefing up security at its middle school and the high school.
Last month authorities say someone left a message on a desk, referring to the tragedy at Columbine High School and Nov. 11.
Dozens of parents and police officers patrolled the schools, looking for anything unusual.
School officials say they believe the message is a hoax. They say a person doesn't normally advertise the time and date of such a threat.
